My wish list!!

Sooo.... I have a few things that I'm dying to get, therefore the saving begins! These are just a few things that I really want: A Basin with a comfy chair, A hydraulic chair, A trolley for all my equipment, A scissor pouch and a New pair of scissors! I know for sure that someday soon I will have all these things, it is just a matter of time now! CANT WAIT till I have my own salon going!! :)

Egyptian Make-up

This is my friend Roxy who I did the Egyptian make-up on, I used a variety of colors which include: Pink, Blue, Orange, Purple and White. I thought that I could have done a better job but I think for a first attempt at 'different' make-up, it went pretty well. Obviously practice will make perfect, right??

Hippy Make-up

I had an assignment for college that we had to do make-up for. I decided to do hippy and Egyptian! This is my friend Nina who I did the hippy make-up on, I decided to go for a very natural looking hippy! Have not yet received my results but i'm sure they will be good :)

Sooo Funny

I just had to add this picture... HAHA

Fundraiser fun

So in the month of May I planned a fund raiser in conjunction with other students to raise funds for charity and we hosted a fashion show to raise the funds, we landed up raising R2000 and we were very happy about that because its money we never had. After the fund raiser a few of us decided to go out for a bit an celebrate the successful night, here are two pictures...

Finger waves...

I know this post should have been up long ago but I came across this photo and I realized that I hadn't put a photo of my finger waves on my page, so here is a picture of the finger waves I did on my friend Cat. In my IFSA exams I received a merit for them which I was very happy about! Finger waves were terrible at first and it took FOREVER to get right but what I soon realized is that it has to be done on the correct hair and then it is actually easy, can you believe it? :)

Gents cut

These a three photos of a gents cut that i did, just remember that a doll has very little hair, thats why there are so many gaps haha, if it was on a human then it would look much better! Doing the gents cut was fun because we got to use our clippeers but next week i will be doing my first proper gents cut that im looking very forward to.

Very short layers

We have been doing all our cuts on the dolls so just before we did a gents cut on it we did a layer cut on the graduation cut and this is how mine came out, I think its a nice cut for woman who prefer to have shorter hair and it could even work for a guy, it all depends on a persons personal preference.

Graduation Cut

This was the first graduation cut i did :) i was very proud of my self even though it was a bit off balance. A graduation cut is a beautiful cut and can be cut in a variety of was Asymmetrical or not! I enjoyed this cut a lot, one of the more hard ones but fun.

One length cut

So this is the first cut that we did, a one length! It does not look the best on a doll but its just so everyone can get an idea and soon i will take photos where a big difference can be seen, a one length is simple but it is very important not to loose the guide line.
